Natasha: Valley Principal
As a child, I often felt misunderstood, as a result of my Dyslexia. I became a teacher/principal to be the support for someone, that I needed as a child. I couldn’t be happier to be part of this wonderful school and to have the opportunity to make a difference in others’ lives.
To all the beautiful children and families of Valley Pre-Primary,
I consider myself extremely lucky to be part of the Valley family. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with all the children and their families here at our very own Pre-Primary by the sea. It is such a privilege to watch each child blossom, grow, learn and shine.
Valley Pre-Primary is such a special place. Throughout the years, our purpose at Valley has remained constant; to encourage and develop lifelong learning in the young boys and girls attending our school. The rich relationships formed, the caring and dedicated teachers and staff, and the uniqueness of Valley Pre-Primary provide children with a memorable experience whilst preparing them for the challenges of life. It gives me great joy to observe the children’s growth due to their own hard work and determination as well as the teacher’s dedication, love and commitment. The partnership between enthusiastic, happy children, dedicated staff and involved parents all contribute to making Valley an extraordinary school, where learning is fun!
They say it takes a village to raise a child and this is epitomized at Valley. We would be hard pressed to find a more caring and dedicated group of teachers and assistants than those we are so lucky to have at Valley. Their endless energy, skill and devotion to the children is apparent both inside and outside of the classrooms where the children’s curiosity and thirst for knowledge is encouraged and guided as they grow in confidence and strive to be the best they can be. At Valley Pre-Primary we celebrate each child’s individuality and uniqueness because we believe that every child is a different kind of flower, and together make this world a beautiful garden. Amongst our diverse cultures, we meet new people and make new friends, and the joy, fun and laughter we share are invaluable memories that we will always treasure. This is why we consider ourself more than just a school, we are a family.
To all our Valley children I would like to say; do not be afraid to dream big. “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’M POSSIBLE!” Andrey Hepburn.

I love working at Valley Pre-primary. I am gaining so much experience and having so much fun. I moved to Cape Town in 2012 and heard about this beautiful school and I always wanted to work here. I used to bring children, whom I looked after, to Valley’s holiday club. I really wanted to work at Valley but I felt that I needed to expand my knowledge and I went back to college to study. In 2024 my dream came true when I got the job at Valley Pre-Primary.
